Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology procedures
Operate imaging equipment and apply ionizing radiation to patients
Position patients and ensure their comfort during procedures
Assist physicians with specialized diagnostic and interventional procedures
Monitor patient condition throughout procedures
Maintain a sterile field and follow safety protocols
Document patient statistics and maintain equipment
Required Qualifications
Minimum three years experience as a Radiologic Technologist
One year recent experience in Interventional Radiology (IR)
Graduation from an accredited, ARRT eligible educational program in Radiologic Technology
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certificate in Cardiovascular, Vascular, or Cardiac Interventional Radiography
