MU Health Care is seeking a dedicated Nurse Technician to enhance patient care in various inpatient units. This role involves assisting with patient transfers, meal deliveries, and essential checks, all while fostering a supportive and organized environment. Key Responsibilities
Assist nursing staff in transferring patients and meal deliveries
Manage multiple tasks while maintaining an orderly environment
Educate and train new staff members
Perform patient hygiene care and medical checks
Respond promptly to patient needs and document vital signs
Required Qualifications
Completion of a Fundamentals of Nursing course within 180 days
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or CNA exam registration
Direct patient care experience in the past three years as a medical assistant, nursing assistant, emergency medical technician, or surgical technician
Completion of an Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) training program and clinical log within the last three years
Nursing licensure candidate who was unsuccessful on the state licensure examinations in the past three years
Completion of a nursing program outside the United States and awaiting the licensure examination
Preferred Qualifications
