Valid Pennsylvania Special Education Teaching Certificate issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE), along with certification in either PreK–8 Special Education or 7–12 Special Education, is required.
Position Details:
Full-time position for the 2025–2026 school year.
Location: Union City, Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement instruction to meet the needs of students with disabilities.
Develop, monitor, and update IEPs in collaboration with families and educational teams.
Utilize data-driven strategies to support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth.
Collaborate effectively with general education teachers, support staff, and families.
Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations.
Qualifications:
Valid Pennsylvania Special Education Teaching Certificate issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE).
Certification in PreK–8 Special Education or 7–12 Special Education.
Endorsements or additional certifications (preferred but not required):
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) endorsement.
Behavioral Specialist certification.
Reading Specialist endorsement.
Experience working with students with autism, intellectual disabilities, or specific learning disabilities (preferred).
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills (preferred).
Knowledge of evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies (preferred).
