Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Travel Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at a reputable healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in medical-surgical nursing, oncology experience, and be comfortable delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Monitor patient status and response to treatment, documenting findings in the electronic medical record.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity and coordination of care.
• Educate patients and their families on conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain compliance with hospital safety and infection control procedures.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the state of assignment or compact licensure – Required
• 2+ years of recent Med-Surg experience – Required
• BLS & ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) – Required
• Oncology nursing experience – Required
• Prior travel nursing experience – Highly preferred
• Epic EMR experience – Preferred
