Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic services for language, communication, and oral-motor disorders
Implement treatment procedures based on assessment findings
Provide speech and language therapy services
Consult with Center for Autism staff for skill development
Assess and coordinate augmentative/assistive communication technology
Maintain clinical and billing records
Participate in quality assurance and program evaluation activities
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited program
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech/language pathology or equivalent
Demonstrated ability to communicate in verbal and written formats
Valid driver’s license
Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder
Knowledge of common child/adolescent language, speech, and communication disorders
Knowledge of oral motor/feeding disorders and treatment protocols
Two to five years’ experience with emphasis on children and adolescents
Prior clinical experience with individuals with developmental disability or diagnosis of Autism Disorder
