Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic services for language, communication, and oral-motor disorders
  • Implement treatment procedures based on assessment findings
  • Provide speech and language therapy services
  • Consult with Center for Autism staff for skill development
  • Assess and coordinate augmentative/assistive communication technology
  • Maintain clinical and billing records
  • Participate in quality assurance and program evaluation activities

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech/language pathology or equivalent
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in verbal and written formats
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Knowledge of common child/adolescent language, speech, and communication disorders
  • Knowledge of oral motor/feeding disorders and treatment protocols
  • Two to five years’ experience with emphasis on children and adolescents
  • Prior clinical experience with individuals with developmental disability or diagnosis of Autism Disorder
