Key Responsibilities
Prepare medications by reviewing and interpreting prescribed medication orders
Direct and verify pharmacy technician order fulfillment
Provide pharmacological information to healthcare professionals
Maintain pharmacy services procedures for quality assurance
Administer COVID-19 and other vaccines as needed
Coordinate vaccine clinics with facility staff
Complete Medication Reviews as requested
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
Required Qualifications
Active Tennessee Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist License
Graduate of a College of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent
One to three years of pharmacy experience
One or more years of vaccine administration experience
One or more years of Medication Therapy Management (MTM) or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Active Alabama Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist License (optional)
