Join Cepheid as a Director of Medical Affairs and make a significant impact in the DACH region. You will engage with healthcare professionals, drive research initiatives, and contribute to the advancement of molecular diagnostics in infectious diseases.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in scientific meetings to engage Senior KOLs and healthcare providers
Demonstrate expertise in infectious disease and clinical microbiology
Serve as a resource to the medical/scientific community
Develop and maintain understanding of the Global Health environment relevant to diagnostics
Establish and maintain a network of contacts within relevant stakeholder communities
Engage and collaborate with researchers on independent studies
Communicate insights from the medical/scientific community about unmet clinical or diagnostic needs
Required Qualifications
Medical Degree (MD) with specialization in infectious diseases, microbiology or infection prevention and control
8+ years of related work experience
Strong scientific writing with successful publication record
Excellent communication skills with national/international speaking experience
Fluency in German and excellent English communication and presentation skills
Ability to travel (60% regional and some international travel required)
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years Medical and Scientific Affairs experience
Expertise in coordinating and managing diagnostics studies in infectious diseases in Germany
Clinical trials management experience
Biostatistics knowledge
Regulatory familiarity for using and managing on-market diagnostics
