Job Description
American Traveler seeks a full-time School Speech-Language Pathologist with SC SLP license, ASHA CCCs, and education certification for daytime roles in elementary school settings.
Responsibilities
- Work in elementary school environments including Sires Elementary and Summerville Elementary
- Caseload includes autism classes, mild intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, and deaf and hard of hearing students
- Split full-time position between two sites with varied student populations
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday
- Academic year assignment from July 30, 2025 to May 16, 2026
- Responsibilities include assessment and treatment of students with speech, language, hearing, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Full-time on-site presence required during school hours
Requirements
- Current South Carolina SLP license required if applicable
- Active South Carolina educator certification required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- No Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates accepted
