Join Christus Health as a Speech Pathologist to provide critical assessment and therapy services for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. This role allows you to impact patient care while supervising and mentoring students and volunteers.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Maintain quality documentation regarding patient status
Participate in patient care and family conferences
Supervise Speech Pathology students and volunteers
Assist in the supervision of Rehab Techs
Participate in Performance Improvement activities
Provide education and training to families and involved individuals
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech Pathology
1.5 years full-time clinical experience as a Speech Pathologist
State licensure as a Speech Pathologist
Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with assessment and treatment tools
Ability to perform daily responsibilities associated with patient treatment
