Job Description
As an Acute Care Occupational Therapist at Intermountain Health, you will provide comprehensive occupational therapy services, working closely with patients and care teams to enhance recovery and improve quality of life. This role emphasizes patient-centered care, quality improvement, and collaboration in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Screen, test, evaluate, diagnose, and treat injuries and disabilities
Consult, educate, and train patients, families, and caregivers
Collaborate with care teams to deliver patient-centered care
Maintain thorough patient records and complete billing
Supervise assistants and ensure high-quality care
Participate in quality improvement processes
Contribute to program development and marketing strategies
Required Qualifications
Current Occupational Therapist license
Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
Basic Computer skills
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Experience with target population
Current driver’s license and reliable transportation
