Key Responsibilities
Train and monitor skills of new and existing Medical Assistants
Obtain current patient information including vital signs and medical history
Process instruments and equipment as needed
Obtain necessary patient records and verify consent
Schedule appointments and assist in preauthorization needs
Provide medical assistant support as needed
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Certificate of graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants
Current CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications
3 years experience as a medical assistant or nursing assistant in a hospital or clinic setting
Phlebotomy experience
Performance of EKG
