Join CoreCivic as a PEO Clinical Director and play a vital role in transforming healthcare delivery within correctional facilities. You'll lead patient care strategies, oversee clinical operations, and mentor medical teams, all while ensuring compliance and quality in service. Your leadership will directly impact the health and well-being of communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities
Support patient care strategies across the organization
Provide medical oversight and expertise
Collaborate with strategic partners on correctional medical goals
Provide clinical oversight to regional medical directors
Monitor compliance with policy guidelines and training standards
Participate in administrative committees
Mentor and develop skills of medical and nursing providers
Conduct peer reviews and quality improvement initiatives
Ensure provider care meets accreditation standards
Obtain and maintain relevant licenses and clearances
Travel domestically as required
Required Qualifications
Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.)
Licensure as a physician
Five years of experience in correctional medicine
Experience supervising mid-level and physician level providers
Strong medical leadership skills
Communication skills
Management acumen
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in correctional medical management as a state-wide medical director, regional medical director, or corporate medical director
