📝 Requirements
- Licensure: Active Arizona Pharmacist License
- Experience:
- 3+ years of pharmacist experience
- Hospital/acute care setting required
- Certifications:
- IV Certification required
🧪 Responsibilities Include:
- Dispensing medications accurately to patients and hospital departments
- Collaborating with physicians on drug therapy and dosing
- Educating staff, patients, and physicians on medications
- Managing narcotic accountability, IV admixture mixing, and nutritional supplements
- Ensuring compliance with DEA, state/federal laws, TJC standards, and hospital protocols
- Supporting medication safety initiatives and monitoring for adverse drug reactions
