RN - Med Surg Tele
Job Details:
• Mixed unit providing Med Surg, Med Surg Tele and PCU care
• 1:6 patient ratio experience required for all shifts (days, nights, weekends)
• 2 years of experience required in specialty
• Must work every other weekend
• Floating required within scope of practice
• Mandatory 5 shifts for clinical orientation week (36-40 hours first week)
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH (must obtain before start date)
• Rapid Response team experience required
• Total joints experience required
• Must be available to work holidays as required (1 Eve and 1-2 holidays depending on assignment length)
• Complete 4 hours of non-billable modules prior to start date
• Must maintain 1:6 patient ratio experience as hard requirement
• Experience required with cardiac drips (no titration), dysrhythmias, CVA, chest tubes
• Any scrub color acceptable
• Free parking in unrestricted spaces
• Charting system: Meditech (experience preferred)
• Must be greater than 30 miles from facility (no local travelers)
• Florida or compact RN license required
• 3 call outs results in termination
• Schedule changes may occur with 48 hours notice

This acute care hospital features 210 staffed beds and provides comprehensive medical services including interventional cardiac catheterization lab on-site. The facility offers interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. The organization maintains high standards for patient care with specialized units for medical-surgical, telemetry, and progressive care patients.
