Job Requirements

Education Requirements:

  • State RN license
  • Recent Infection Prevention experience

Certifications Requirements:

  • Current RN license in Montana or ready for active licensure
  • Infection Prevention certification (preferred or recent experience)

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in LTC or hospital settings

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work 36-40 hours per week (5x8's)
  • Must possess a Montana state license or be eligible for licensure
  • Strong infection prevention knowledge and supervisory skills
  • Flexibility and strong communication skills

  • Supervise and coordinate infection prevention protocols within a hospital setting.
  • Oversee LTC units ensuring adherence to safety and care standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement best practices.
  • Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
  • Educate staff on infection control procedures and updates.
  • Conduct audits and prepare compliance reports.
  • Manage day-to-day operations during shifts (6am-6pm, 3x12-hour days).
