Job Description
Join Optum as a Patient Services Representative and engage in a collaborative office environment to enhance patient experiences. Your role will be pivotal in managing patient interactions, from intake processes to handling medical records, all while contributing to better health outcomes for the community.
Key Responsibilities
Greet patients and manage wait time
Assist patients with intake processes
Collect co-payments and issue receipts
Manage cashier box and daily deposits
Process walk-in patients and visitors
Answer phones and schedule appointments
Manage medical records
Process requests for medical records release
Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of experience in a healthcare or customer service-related field
Experience working in a medical front office position
Knowledge of EMR software
