Job Description

Join the Jewish Board as a Crisis Behavioral Health Clinician, where you'll provide crucial crisis interventions to children and young adults experiencing mental health crises in the Staten Island community. You'll work alongside a dedicated team, ensuring clients receive immediate support and appropriate treatment interventions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor CMCT email and respond to crisis referrals
  • Perform risk assessments and psychosocial evaluations
  • Create safety plans with clients and families
  • Develop and implement short-term service plans
  • Utilize evidence-based practices for clinical interventions
  • Document case information in electronic health records
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
  • Assist in the intake process for new consumers

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed Mental Health clinician
  • Valid NYS Driver's License
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience with similar client population
  • Proficient reading and writing English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual clinicians if relevant to the population serviced
