Job Title: Travel ER/ED RN
Facility: SBL Fayette County Hospital
Shift: 3x12's - Day Shift - 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
Start Date: 24/11/2025
Scheduled End: 21/02/2026
Assignment Length: Approximately 13 weeks

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • Current State Registered Nurse (RN) License (Active and unrestricted)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Required)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification (Preferred but not mandatory)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (Optional)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality emergency and urgent care to diverse patient populations in a fast-paced hospital environment.
  • Assess patient conditions, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, technicians, and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Administer medications, perform diagnostic tests, and manage emergency situations with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Document all patient interactions accurately and in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
  • Utilize your critical thinking skills to prioritize and manage multiple urgent cases simultaneously during your shift.

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience as an Emergency Room or Emergency Department RN, ideally with recent hospital-based ER/ED exposure.
  • Strong clinical skills, including trauma care, cardiac emergency management, and pediatric emergencies.
  • Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure in a high-stakes environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate effectively with healthcare professionals.
  • Flexibility to work 12-hour day shifts on a rotating or scheduled basis.

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of ER/ED nursing experience in a hospital setting.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, such as EPIC or Cerner.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to diverse patient needs and emergency situations rapidly and effectively.
