Key Responsibilities
Supervise shift mechanics by assigning tasks and verifying completed work
Authorize and oversee after-hours repairs
Manage parts inventory using TMT
Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and full-service repairs on heavy-duty vehicles
Conduct thorough final inspections to ensure repairs meet safety regulations
Complete detailed work orders and maintain accurate records
Respond to on-site service calls
Collaborate with technicians on complex repairs
Open and close the maintenance facility
Required Qualifications
Proven experience as a diesel mechanic
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair software
Strong mechanical, electrical, and welding skills
Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to work flexible hours and respond to after-hours calls if required
