Job Description
Join Zen Educate as a Teaching Assistant to support K–12 special education students. Gain hands-on experience while helping maintain a positive learning environment and assisting teachers with academic and behavioral needs.
Key Responsibilities
Assist licensed staff in implementing academic adaptations and IEPs
Work with students individually or in small groups
Maintain a safe and conducive classroom environment
Provide support for students in crisis situations
Utilize various learning methods to enhance student engagement
Required Qualifications
60 college credits or higher OR passing score on Paraeducator Assessment or Paraprofessional Assessment
Professional proficiency in English
U.S. Work Authorization
Preferred Qualifications
ParaPro Certification
Behavioral Technician or PCA experience
Experience in a school setting with children with special needs
