Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment
Conduct maintenance repairs on all vehicles addressing malfunctions and road-call repairs
Document all work performed using Complaint, Cause, and Correction Format
Learn and develop efficiency in all Maintenance Related Sysco Computer programs
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training (2-year school)
1 Year Experience with 2 Year Technical Degree or 3 years experience in Fleet Maintenance and Repair
ASE Certification (Automotive or Medium/Heavy Duty)
Current and Valid Driver's License, CDL-A Preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Annual Inspector Certification
Brake Inspector Certification
Basic Knowledge of all vehicle systems and components
Knowledge in the diagnosis and repair of electrical systems
Understanding in welding and cutting (gas, electric, MIG, TIG)
Working knowledge of Computer-based diagnostic software for OEM component manufacturers
