Opportunity:
Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology
Job Details:
• Work Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• No weekend, holiday, call, or standby requirements • Must be RT (R)(N) registered with at least 2 years of experience • Required to start IVs and work independently • Perform general nuclear medicine studies including stress tests, HIDA scans, bone, renal, thyroid, and brain scans • Perform weekly and monthly nuclear medicine quality control • Order appropriate pharmaceuticals for nuclear medicine studies • Assist with diagnostic general x-rays during downtime • Average of 2 scans/studies per day • Work with GE department-specific equipment and Merge RIS/PACS system • Chart using MEDITECH system • One week department-specific orientation provided • No specific scrub color requirements • Must provide copy of unexpired driver's license • Radiation badge required (provided by agency)• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT (R) verification, ARRT (N) verificationFacility:
