Join Grainger as a Maintenance Technician IV in Gresham, Oregon, where you'll be a key player in ensuring the smooth operation of automated material handling systems and building equipment. You will leverage your technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, contributing to maximum system uptime and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Be the primary responder for all complex system issues involving automated material handling
Assist with infrastructure upgrades and repairs to DC assets
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control system components
Perform audits and quality checks on equipment and systems
Provide diagnosis analyses on building equipment
Troubleshoot and report on material handling system performance
Required Qualifications
Technical degree or Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Minimum of 5 years of building and equipment maintenance experience
2 years maintaining automated material handling systems
Complete technical training in electronic controls, power distribution, and PLC troubleshooting
Experience using electrical test equipment, hand tools, power tools, calipers, gauges
Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and schematics
High understanding of codes such as NEC, BOCA, UBC, MSDS, and OSHA
Preferred Qualifications
Technical skills to become subject matter expert for automated material handling systems
Experience with thermal imaging equipment
Experience with AC drives (set-up, programming, faults)
