Job Description
Join Raytheon as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, where you will lead the design and improvement of manufacturing processes, develop comprehensive data packages, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with a multi-disciplined team to solve complex manufacturing challenges and enhance production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Lead design and improvement of manufacturing processes
Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs)
Translate engineering design requirements into manufacturing processes
Support manufacturing with process troubleshooting
Lead non-conforming material analysis
Drive Continuous Improvement using Six Sigma principles
Provide real-time technical support
Develop and implement manufacturing process control
Required Qualifications
Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum 5 years relevant experience or advanced degree with 3 years experience
Ability to obtain and maintain ATF clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain US security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience leading teams/projects
Experience with interpretation of technical documentation
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Technical drawing interpretation and GD&T
Proficiency with CAD solid modeling tools (preferably CREO/ProE)
Hands-on mechanical aptitude
Innovative mindset for continuous improvement
Strong organization and communication skills
Current DoD security clearance (secret)
Experience with automated tooling and programming
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
