Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible start/stop times)
Call: 10 days per month with 4–6 late stay days
Must live within 30 minutes of call-back distance
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) to join our team. In this role, you will provide procedural support to physicians , including hemodynamic and electrophysiologic monitoring , sterile techniques, and radiologic support. You'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care while maintaining a well-organized, safe, and sterile environment.
Operate and maintain specialized radiologic and monitoring equipment following established protocols.
Provide hands-on support to physicians during procedures (e.g., IVUS, pressure wire, Possess, IABP, Bloom stimulator, EPT, RF sources, etc.).
Manage equipment and supplies, collaborating with technical and material coordinators to ensure readiness.
Document and perform departmental functions using Epic .
Prepare and set up procedure rooms each morning (e.g., transducers, sterile fields).
Safely transport patients to and from the department as needed.
Maintain a clean and aseptic environment , performing environmental scrub-downs regularly.
Participate in training and vendor in-services to stay updated on new technologies.
Support other cardiology areas and unit/hospital goals, including Performance Improvement (PI) initiatives.
Complete variance reports accurately and comply with departmental educational standards.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Exercise independent judgment in planning and executing technical procedures.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, internal staff, and leadership teams.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to analyze clinical and numerical data and apply it effectively.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
High attention to detail to ensure accuracy and patient safety.
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program , OR
Current RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) credentials through Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
Required:
ARRT (R) or RCIS certification.
CPR Certification .
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (must be obtained within 1 year of hire).
