Key Responsibilities
Perform various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice
Review patient history and physician's orders; educate patients regarding procedures
Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice
Monitor patient condition and report/respond to changes in status
Prepare equipment and supplies; implement safety standards
Position patients and perform imaging procedures; analyze results for quality
Work with Radiology students as needed
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
Preferred Qualifications
Specialty ARRT certification(s) if required for position
State licensure if required by law
