Key Responsibilities
Teach a curriculum including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Environmental Sciences
Develop students’ skills in questioning, modeling, data analysis, and conducting labs
Create an environment for scientific discourse
Facilitate student-led inquiry and project-based tasks
Analyze student work samples and assessments with instructional coach
Implement strategies to differentiate instruction
Build positive relationships with students and families
Participate in professional development and school-wide meetings
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated commitment to supporting students’ social emotional and academic development
Enthusiasm for collaborating with internal and external partners
Self-directed learner who solicits and implements feedback
Demonstrated interest in impacting K-12 students in urban schools
Academic expertise in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or related fields
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
