Join Providence as an Electrophysiology Technician and play a vital role in patient care within the Electrophysiology Lab. You'll assist physicians in critical procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare for and assist the physician in Electrophysiology Lab procedures
Perform as a monitor tech and scrub tech, maintaining sterile technique
Perform/review baseline patient assessment and evaluate patient response to procedures
Provide patient care and administer drugs as directed by a physician
Operate and maintain diagnostic and therapeutic EP equipment
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular or radiographic technology
Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification upon hire
Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire
National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire
National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire
At least 6 months cardiac internship during education
Prior EP experience in a technical capacity
Preferred Qualifications
Completion of formal training from an AMA-approved Cardiovascular Technology Program
Two (2) years prior experience in a cardiovascular laboratory
