Job Description
Join ABF Freight as a CDL-A Local Truck Driver and enjoy home daily routes with excellent benefits. You will handle cargo pickup and delivery, ensuring efficient operations while complying with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Load and unload cargo
Perform various tasks including check-in and tractor/trailer inspection
Exercise independent judgment regarding trailer building
Operate a forklift as needed
Complete routine paperwork and log loading sheets
Required Qualifications
Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements
Minimum 21 years of age
Good stable work record
Safe driving record
Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen
Meet DOT medical requirements
Preferred Qualifications
1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience
High School Diploma / GED
