Key Responsibilities
Oversee and monitor medicine and surgery at the ASPCA’s CVC
Train veterinarians in HQHVSN techniques and other medical protocols
Support a positive work culture through regular 1:1s and developmental coaching
Perform pre-surgery physical exams and high-quality spay/neuter surgeries
Provide compassionate preventive care to patients in underserved areas
Participate in administrative duties such as scheduling and meetings
Required Qualifications
Current California State Veterinary License
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA accredited veterinary college
Minimum one year of experience in high quality, high volume spay/neuter
Minimum three years veterinary experience in small animal medicine and surgery
Demonstrate true leadership abilities in challenging situations
Fear Free® Shelter certification required within 60 days of hire
