Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend

A 28-bed Medical Surgical Unit (Level 2 North) in Petoskey, MI is seeking an experienced Med Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment. This fast-paced unit cares for a diverse patient population including general and vascular surgery, bariatric surgery, plastic surgery, trauma, and serves as the hospital stroke unit.
Deliver patient-centered care focused on safety and quality outcomes
Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Care Team using clinical pathways and patient education
Participate in an active Unit-Based Council promoting teamwork and a positive work environment
Support new team members during orientation and foster professional growth
Utilize evidence-based practices and holistic approaches to care
Required:
2+ years Med Surg experience
BLS current
Travel experience highly preferred
Preferred:
Experience in a fast-paced, diverse Med Surg setting
Strong communication, clinical expertise, and leadership skills
