This Pulmonology - Critical Care Physician role involves delivering advanced pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine therapies in both outpatient and inpatient settings. The position offers collaborative work with experienced clinicians, access to cutting-edge bronchoscopy technologies, and participation in educational activities within a supportive and innovative healthcare environment. Based in Scranton, PA, the role includes a balanced schedule with no overnight calls and weekend coverage on a 1:4 rotation.

Our highly experienced clinicians deliver the most up-to-date, comprehensive care in pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine and sleep medicine. LVHN functions as a major referral center for communities within a 50-mile radius providing advanced therapies such as extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) and other forms of cardiopulmonary support, advanced bronchoscopy procedures (linear and curvilinear EBUS, navigational/robotic bronchoscopy, laser therapy, etc.) and other therapies.

  • This position is located in beautful Scranton, PA
  • Work alongside two experienced PA-Cs
  • Primarily outpatient pulmonary opportunity
  • Some inpatient pulmonary and critical care coverage at Lehigh Valley Hospital Dickson City
  • Physicians average 15-18 patients per day. Clinic hours are typically 800am to 430pm
  • There is no overnight call coverage for this position
  • 1:4 weekend call
