Join Kaiser Permanente as an MRI Technologist and play a crucial role in providing high-quality imaging services. You will perform MRI procedures, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Perform MRI examinations of various body parts and adjust scanning parameters
Identify gross pathology and adjust scanning parameters accordingly
Perform specialized exams and use magnetic resonance techniques effectively
Start and remove IV lines for contrast studies and respond to reactions
Review and document patient information accurately
Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team
Required Qualifications
Minimum one (1) year experience as an MRI technologist or registry eligible ARRT advanced certification in MRI
Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program or MRI Accredited Certificate program
High School Diploma or GED
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certificate - Magnetic Resonance Imaging within 12 months of hire OR American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists Certificate
