Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the vision and strategy for growing distribution with external financial intermediaries
Drives achievement of strategic objectives and execution to grow sales and market share
Identifies emerging market trends and leverages insights into actionable recommendations
Develops and nurtures relationships with external institutional distributors
Oversees distributor and supplier due diligence and program deployment
Provides executive oversight of program and project management
Maintains knowledge of industry trends and each distributor
Builds and oversees a team of employees for the assigned functional area
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified and monitored
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of related experience
10 years of progressive experience in business development or business relationship management
6 years of people leadership experience
Experience in prospecting and closing institutional distribution relationships
Demonstrated ability to lead business relationship management and product development
Experience leading a P&L and operating within regulatory requirements
Demonstrated experience as a cost-conscious innovator
Experience collaborating with executive leadership and stakeholders
Senior executive-level business acumen
Preferred Qualifications
Annuity product experience
Product Management experience within Retirement Products
Executive level experience in the financial services industry
CFP certification
