Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Assist physicians and medical staff in caring for surgical patients
Provide pre- and post-surgery care and education to patients
Prepare and administer prescribed medication
Monitor and observe patients during surgery
Ensure correct procedures are performed on the correct patients
Respond to comfort and safety needs of patients
Handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment
Required Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN) license
BLS certification
ACLS certification
1-2 years recent acute care experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a circulating nurse
Experience as a scrub nurse
Experience as an RN first assistant
