Shift time: Days- 7a-7:30p
Shift hours: 3x12hrs- Days
Guaranteed hours: 36

 

 

Position Overview:

Seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in the Operating Room . This is a day shift role with 36 guaranteed hours per week, and may include 1–2 variable shifts per month.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced surgical environment. Applicants must have strong experience in Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Transplant, and Cardiac procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons and RNs
• Prepare operating rooms, arrange equipment, and help prepare patients for surgery
• Maintain sterile field and handle instruments during procedures
• Ensure proper care and handling of surgical instruments and equipment
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes

Requirements:

• National Surgical Tech Certification – REQUIRED
• BLS/CPR Certification – REQUIRED

• Minimum Experience: Ortho, Neuro, Transplant, and Cardiac surgical cases

   

Compensation & Scheduling:

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift Schedule: Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM); 1–2 variable shifts/month possible
• On-Call: Not required

Local candidates not accepted (must reside >50 miles from the facility location)
Flu Vaccine 2025–2026 Season – REQUIRED at submission- Declination not accepted

If not already vaccinated, candidate must attest they will receive vaccine before start
