Job Description

Join Bridgeview Estates as an RN Staff Development Coordinator / Infection Preventionist, where you'll lead educational initiatives and oversee infection control programs to ensure the highest standards of patient care. Work in a supportive environment in beautiful Twin Falls, Idaho, and play a crucial role in enhancing resident safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, develop, and direct all in-service education
  • Evaluate the quality of resident care and outcomes related to infections
  • Collect, prepare, and analyze infection data
  • Monitor associate compliance with infection control standards
  • Prepare and present education for staff, residents, and families
  • Act as the on-site IPC for COVID-19 prevention
  • Develop and oversee the Antibiotic Stewardship Program

Required Qualifications

  • Nursing diploma (associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing or higher)
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
  • Certifications or training per State requirements
  • Desire and ability to effectively train and educate all nursing associates
  • Expert knowledge in field of practice

Preferred Qualifications

  • Teaching/education experience
  • Specialized IPC training
  • One (1) year geriatric nursing experience
  • CPR certification upon hire
