Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and intervention for members
Deliver treatment to adults, adolescents, and children
Select appropriate treatment modalities
Communicate effectively with members and clinical staff
Document clinical encounters in member charts
Conduct initial interviews and determine urgency of member needs
Provide crisis intervention and therapy
Maintain written records of therapy and prepare reports
Offer clinical consultations in an integrated health care environment
Conduct telephone assessments and referrals
Participate in quality management and continuous quality improvement activities
Required Qualifications
Two years of post-graduate addiction medicine therapy experience within the last five years
Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or related field
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California) OR Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California) OR Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California)
National Provider Identifier
Knowledge of current DSM nomenclature
Consistent demonstration of superior and culturally sensitive service
Familiarity with psychopathology and clinical treatment interventions
