Physical Therapist Assistant – SNF
Location: Redding, CT
Schedule: Full-time
Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

Overview:

We’re hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a skilled nursing facility team in Redding, CT . This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping patients regain mobility, improve function, and enhance their quality of life through individualized, compassionate care.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Assist in implementing care plans and tracking patient progress
• Collaborate with PTs, OTs, SLPs, and nursing staff to support holistic care
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with facility and state guidelines
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safety to promote independence

Qualifications:

• Active Connecticut PTA license
• Experience in a skilled nursing or geriatric setting preferred
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
