Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct treatment for pediatric clients and their families
  • Continuously evaluate client needs and share findings with the supervising Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Plan and problem-solve with the supervising OT
  • Communicate and collaborate with other professionals and parents
  • Provide services effectively within your scope of practice
  • Document all treatment sessions and maintain client files
  • Communicate changes in status to Supervising OT and/or Directors
  • Attend required meetings
  • Develop instructional materials and evaluate commercially produced materials
  • Keep current on developments in Occupational Therapy
  • Record billable hours and submit timesheets
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Associates degree required
  • State Licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • At least 1 year of experience in Pediatrics

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree preferred
