PCU Registered Nurse Job Details

• Location: Phoenix, AZ 85037 (Arizona healthcare jobs)
• Unit: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Job Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 11/10/2025 – End: 2/9/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Weekly Hours: 36 (Guaranteed: 24 hours/week)
• Open Positions: 3
• On-Call & Weekend: Schedule determined by facility

PCU RN Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona (AZ RN license)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA required)
• No license restrictions or disciplinary actions
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Flu vaccination required (declinations considered)
• Must not have an Arizona home address on driver's license
• Meet Banner Health background and compliance requirements
• Submit Banner cover page, updated resume, skills checklist (within 1 year), and active license verification (within 30 days)

PCU Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in the Progressive Care Unit
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient conditions
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document all patient care activities promptly and accurately
• Educate and support patients and their families throughout the care process
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and healthcare standards
