Coverage needed 7 days per week

Average of 26 newborns per day on service (excluded from locum responsibilities)

36 Med/Surg beds within GCHSWF
70 NICU beds (NICU handled by dedicated team)
Current team: 6 physicians; hiring for 3 more (goal: 9 total)
Two experienced NPs (one in nursery, one on pediatric floor, each with 25+ years of experience)
Rounding on general pediatric patients
Performing admissions
Coordinating with pediatric subspecialists
Must be proficient and independent in lumbar punctures
Board Certified in Pediatrics - Required
Active Florida Medical License - Required
NICA Membership/Receipts - Required
BLS (AHA) and PALS (AHA) - Required
NPDB report (within last 3 months) - Required
Current CV - Required
Case Logs:
Must include 24 inpatient records from the past 12 months
Logs must be from a primary source (no personal logs)
Preferably include patient ages
December coverage is a top priority
Flexibility to cover days, nights, and weekends is highly valued
