Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and administer a clinical quality improvement program for stroke care
  • Function as a clinical resource nurse for staff and patients
  • Plan and conduct continuing education programs
  • Maintain Stroke Registry database
  • Ensure correct identification and assessments for stroke patients
  • Act as a liaison for research with relevant associations

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • 8 hours of initial and annual stroke specific education
  • Washington Registered Nurse License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • NIH Stroke Scale Certificate
  • 5 years Nursing experience
  • 2 years Emergency Department or Inpatient stroke experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN)
  • Project management experience
