Key Responsibilities
Develop and administer a clinical quality improvement program for stroke care
Function as a clinical resource nurse for staff and patients
Plan and conduct continuing education programs
Maintain Stroke Registry database
Ensure correct identification and assessments for stroke patients
Act as a liaison for research with relevant associations
Required Qualifications
Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN)
8 hours of initial and annual stroke specific education
Washington Registered Nurse License
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
NIH Stroke Scale Certificate
5 years Nursing experience
2 years Emergency Department or Inpatient stroke experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN)
Project management experience
