Key Responsibilities
Assess patients and safely perform routine CT procedures
Verify physician orders and procedures
Utilize radiology information systems
Explain procedures to patients
Independently operate equipment for imaging procedures
Review patient images for diagnostic quality
Complete quality control procedures
Assist in departmental operations
Adapt behavior for specific patient populations
Required Qualifications
Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or computed tomography ARRT (CT) certified
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registry eligible
Current unrestricted license in the state of practice
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
CT experience
Advanced certification in CT required by a mechanism acceptable to the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
