Job Description
As a Freight Operations Manager at XPO, you will oversee the daily operations of the service center, ensuring efficient delivery service and effective management of personnel. You will play a key role in revenue and cost controls while mentoring a team to drive positive results.
Key Responsibilities
Handle the efficiency and effectiveness of the delivery service
Guide the complete daily operations of the service center
Oversee revenue, profit and cost controls
Ensure proper staffing, utilization and management of personnel
Mentor and manage all personnel working at the facility
Required Qualifications
4 years of related work experience
Supervisory or management experience
Experience in the less-than-truckload (LTL) industry
Experience with hazardous materials regulations
Knowledge of OSHA and DOT rules and regulations
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
LTL freight management and/or service center/management experience
Experience driving a forklift
Strong interpersonal and management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
