Job Description
Join the ASPCA as a Lead Veterinarian, where you'll support a dedicated team in delivering high-quality veterinary care to underserved communities. You will lead and mentor veterinarians while ensuring exceptional care for pets, making a significant impact on animal welfare.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee medicine and surgery at the ASPCA’s CVC
Train veterinarians in HQHVSN techniques
Support a positive work culture
Perform high-quality spay/neuter procedures
Provide preventive and basic care to patients
Schedule CM staff veterinarians for optimal coverage
Required Qualifications
Current California State Veterinary License
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA accredited college
Minimum one year of experience in high quality, high volume spay/neuter
Minimum three years veterinary experience in small animal medicine and surgery
Excellent work attendance record
Preferred Qualifications
Previous people management experience
