Key Responsibilities
Ensure high quality, low stress patient and population care
Develop and oversee behavioral diagnosis and treatment plans
Mentor behavior staff and provide hands-on coaching
Manage relationships with medical and behavior team leaders
Lead research projects and contribute to the organization’s Behavior Strategy Plan
Required Qualifications
3+ years experience in people management
Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Experience working with behaviorally and medically compromised animals
Fear Free certification within 6 months of hire
Ability to participate in humane euthanasia decisions
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing/overseeing research projects
Experience writing scientific publications for peer-reviewed journals
