Job Description

Join Senior Community Care of Colorado as a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant, where you'll provide essential physical therapy treatments to elderly participants, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform physical therapy treatments and related duties as delegated by the physical therapist
  • Communicate participant changes and progress per treatment plan to Registered Physical Therapist
  • Maintain proper documentation according to state and federal regulations
  • Respond to psychosocial support needs of participants and their families
  • Participate in patient care conferences and other rehabilitation-related meetings

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate from a physical therapist assistant curriculum approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
  • Currently licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Colorado
  • Minimum of one-year experience working with the frail or elderly population
  • Good working knowledge of physical, psychosocial and behavioral needs of the elderly population
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a skilled nursing facility
