Join Senior Community Care of Colorado as a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant, where you'll provide essential physical therapy treatments to elderly participants, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Perform physical therapy treatments and related duties as delegated by the physical therapist
Communicate participant changes and progress per treatment plan to Registered Physical Therapist
Maintain proper documentation according to state and federal regulations
Respond to psychosocial support needs of participants and their families
Participate in patient care conferences and other rehabilitation-related meetings
Required Qualifications
Graduate from a physical therapist assistant curriculum approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
Currently licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Colorado
Minimum of one-year experience working with the frail or elderly population
Good working knowledge of physical, psychosocial and behavioral needs of the elderly population
Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of one year experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a skilled nursing facility
