Join Johnson Controls as a Machine Operator II on the 2nd Shift, where you'll operate complex machinery in stainless steel production, ensuring quality and efficiency. You will be responsible for welding, machine setup, and maintaining equipment while supporting your peers in their development.
Key Responsibilities
Operate highly complex machinery in the production process
Perform semi-complex machine set-ups and load welder with components
Ensure machines operate at required capacity and meet production requirements
Monitor performance of equipment and resolve issues
Verify accuracy of machine settings and detect malfunctions
Assist in preparing performance scorecards and Gemba Boards
Support maintenance team in troubleshooting
Maintain equipment and perform preventive maintenance
Visually inspect welds for compliance with standards
Support training and development of peers
Perform assembly, packaging, and other related duties
Required Qualifications
18 years of age
HS Diploma or equivalent
Reading, writing, and simple math skills
Ability to read blueprints
Previous experience as a Machine Operator I in Stainless Steel
