Key Responsibilities
Assess, coordinate, plan, direct, implement, and manage patient care
Administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments as needed
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests
Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care
Direct and guide ancillary personnel
Required Qualifications
Graduate of a professional academic nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree)
Current NYS Registered Nurse license
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience as a PCA or other nursing assistance
Ability to improve job performance through continuing education
Knowledge of quality concepts and problem-solving tools
